Sound Disturbance
Measure activity and sound density, alert about nuisances, be able to trigger an emergency plan, as well as optimise the noise pollution generated by flows and infrastructures
Our urban areas, our city centres suffer from a density of population, infrastructures, transport, shopping and entertainment areas, which too often generate noise pollution. For local residents these nuisances can be unbearable and disastrous for the well-being of communities. The noise pollution of smart cities and residential areas, must be measured, controlled and managed.
The mapping of the sound levels of an area can be carried out after the deployment of our geolocated mesh solutions. Connected by Wi-Fi they feed the model in real time. Alerts are triggered in case of overflow.
In addition to their primary function, all our detectors can measure the ambient sound level in decibels.
We provide a dedicated indoor or outdoor range of detectors which can be synchronised with a smart phone, interfaceable with smartcities' supervisors and hypervisors systems.
Kiusa
KIUSA
Kiusa: The noise pollution detector
A detector that measures noise pollution and alerts in real time when the sound level is exceeded
"No particular noise should, by its duration, repetition or intensity, be detrimental to the tranquillity of the neighbourhood or to human health", according to the French Public Health laws; However similar rules exist in most countries.
KIUSA continuously measures sonometric data at a variable rate depending on the sound environment's speed of change. It provides a real-time warning when the sound is exceeding the limit set either by the Public Health Code or local authorities.
-
Analyses the sound environment;
-
Measures level in A-weighted decibels;
-
Alert when the set sound level threshold is exceeded.
-
No sound is recorded, total privacy is guaranteed.
Designed for Smart Cities, airports, train and bus stations, residential areas, leisure areas, public spaces, building sites, roadworks areas ; but also for occasional and seasonal rentals, hotels, etc.

Operating characteristics of KIUSA detector
-
KIUSA is a smart detector which continuously analyses the sound environment of the area where it has been installed. It detects the crossing (exceedance and duration) of a treshold of a sound level.
-
Standalone detector: Analysis is processed onboard. It can be connected to any system equipped with contact inputs.
-
With a Sim card, it can also be set up (sound level and duration not to be exceeded) to send notifications via smart phone.
-
Detect at 360°.
-
When KIUSA is connected to the alarm input of a CCTV camera, the control room can receive images from these cameras when a notification is triggered.
-
Indoor and outdoor
-
Total privacy is guaranteed. Sound is instantly transformed into metadata, without ever being recorded or transported.
